We're a small Canadian indie studio quietly building Curse of the Night out of Toronto. Our team grew out of a tight-knit group of Ukrainian developers who love roguelikes, co-op chaos, and games that respect your time. We ship small, listen hard, and iterate in the open with our community.
We’re sharing a closed build with our BuyMeACoffee supporters — exclusive access at least 4 weeks before the public release, unlocking for all tiers starting at $1.
At the end of each room, pick your next one from several options — each with its own reward and difficulty modifiers.
A pressure timer that grows while you're in combat. The higher it climbs, the nastier the spawns. Clear fast or get crushed — no more camping.
Take more than 30% of your max HP in one hit and you get a 10% Injury — unhealable by regular means. Only the new Bandage item brings it back.
Read the fight, pick targets. Healers patch up allies, Shielders buff them, Pullers drag you in, and Snipers take long aim but shred when they land.
Gear that carries across runs. 4 rarity tiers, random rolls up to S+. Imagine a legendary with 4 slots of Crit Chance or Luck S+ — your build goes cracked.
20 rooms with 3 key checkpoints: 2 mini-bosses and the final boss. At each one — extract and keep your loot, or push deeper for fatter rewards. Quick slots and a 3-slot Safe Pocket survive death.
Upgrade what shows up in your runs — BloodShrines, crystals, relics. Build out your hub: place vendors and upgrade the tier of gear they stock.
The Game
Near-infinitely replayable cooperative roguelike where every run evolves through elemental mastery and strategic depth.
Blood, Dark, Arcane, Shadow — focus one element or blend them for game-breaking synergies. 40 scrolls and 14 abilities that transform based on your choices.
Shared progression, intertwined builds. Find out who sticks by your side in battle and who runs off first — the build pieces you skip might be exactly what your friend needed.
33 unique trophies extracted from runs power up everything you do next. Movement-mastery parkour challenges, 24 side-rooms, and content that rewards mastery.

From The Community
Verbatim from itch.io. We didn’t cherry-pick.
This game totally gives me those good old-school vibes. The kind where everything was just built for pure fun and enjoyment, no BS. This is exactly what's been missing from modern game dev.
Just got out of a 3-hour delirium run and I gotta say — Curse of the Night goes hard. The build crafting is juiced up to 11, like slapping angry elementals into a blender and chugging the chaos.
At first it was interesting to experiment with builds combining skills and climbing the DPS charts, but after the latest updates it became interesting to progress and play through the story too.
The developers listen to their community — if you suggest something useful, you can be sure they'll do it. Sometimes in Discord the devs play with their testers, always fun.
The build system is so flexible it feels like a kid in a candy store — you pick abilities like choosing your favorite sweets. The 4-player co-op is an excellent test of friendship strength.
